From February 1st, 2025, our meeting location is Meeting Point D at Coral Sea Marina. To find the exact location, enter “ZigZag Whitsundays” into Google Maps, which will direct you straight to the meeting point.

Check-in is at 8:20 AM, and the boat departs promptly at 9:00 AM. Please allow enough time for parking and check-in to ensure a smooth departure.

Children aged 1 year and over are welcome on our tours.

For Whitehaven Beach All Day Tickets, infants aged 1 to 3 years travel for free, while children aged 4 to 14 require a paid child ticket ($159).

For Whitehaven Beach Plus Snorkelling, children must be 5 years or older to participate.

If you are travelling with a child under 5 years old, they must be booked on a Whitehaven Beach All Day Ticket, and at least one adult must be booked under the same ticket. Life jackets and stinger suits are available for all children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Up to 24 hours before departure is a full refund. all refund requests must be in writing to bookings@zigzagwhitsundays.com.au with your ticket or voucher number.

There is plenty of car parking at Coral Sea Marina for both cars and motorhomes, the cost is around $10 to $12 for the duration of the trip, Pay and display or use the Easy Park App

Snacks, Lunch, Wetsuit, Mask + Snorkel + Fins (for the snorkelling tickets) Drinking Water (bring your own bottle)

Yes! we have 2 Bathrooms and 3 changing rooms on the boat for your convenience

Yes, however, we do recommend not travelling in your last few months of pregnancy, as we are over 2 hours away from the land if your baby decides to make a surprise visit.

No, we can not take cruise ship guests as our tour departure and return times do not fit into any cruise ship schedule.

In a small daypack, it’s best to pack sunglasses, suntan lotion, towel, swimmers, No large bags or suitcases are allowed onboard

Yes, we have a company Gopro that the crew use during the tour, these pictures are available free to you via our ZigZag Whitsundays Day Tour Facebook Page the week after your tour.

It depends on the ticket type.

For Whitehaven Beach All Day Tickets, guests with back problems are generally fine, as this tour involves a smooth ride with unlimited beach-to-boat transfers for comfort. However, as with any boat trip, conditions can vary, and there may be some movement depending on the swell.

For Whitehaven Beach Plus Snorkelling, this may not be suitable for those with back issues. The snorkelling transfer is done on a fast boat, which can experience bumps depending on conditions. If you have concerns, we recommend choosing the Whitehaven Beach All Day Ticket for a more relaxed experience.

The company and boat are owned and run by Nicole and Ben, a local couple with 2 children living right here in the Whitsundays.

The short answer is maybe, it depends on your confidence! We have flotation aids called pool noodles that will help you float.
