Wheelchair Users:

Wheelchair users are able to board and move around the lower deck of our large vessel, Superflyer, comfortably. Access to Whitehaven Beach requires enough mobility to transfer to our smaller vessel and down the boarding ladder onto the beach, sometimes through knee-deep water.
Snorkelling requires a higher level of mobility to comply with in-water safety standards. Transfer to the snorkel site occurs as above, however some snorkels may require the snorkeler to exit the water via an in-water ladder.

Hearing Impaired:

We are happy to provide written instructions and information sheets for passengers with hearing impairments. We do not currently have staff members who can communicate using Auslan or other sign languages, so we recommend hearing-impaired passengers travel with a companion who can hear emergency signals and translate information that may not be in written form.

Vision impaired:

Snorkelling passengers who require prescription lenses can hire prescription masks from AquaDive at Coral Sea Marina. We recommend arranging these the day prior to travelling, as we do not have them available on board. Signage and tour information has been designed to be suitable for some colour blindness. Guests with significant vision impairment are recommended to travel with a companion who can assist with navigation around the vessel.

Physical Limitations:

We recommend discussing physical limitations directly with our customer service staff for the most appropriate advice. Things to consider are;
• Ability to move throughout the main vessel
• Transferring between vessels and onto the beach
• Snorkelling and in-water safety
• Bush walks
• Traversing Whitehaven Beach

Families:

Our tour is particularly suitable for families, with plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. Our ability to provide snorkelling to those who choose and unlimited beach time for those who prefer not to snorkel makes this perfect for families with differing swimming abilities, accessibility needs or preferences.

Parents with Prams:

Families with infants are welcome on-board Superflyer, we have plenty of space to secure prams and a dedicated baby changing table in our disability accessible bathroom.

Assistance Animal Policy:

Certified assistance animals are welcome on our vessel at any time. It is worth contacting our customer service team to discuss any additional accommodations that may be beneficial, so we can make your day as easy as possible.
